This sisal, woven bread basket is handmade by Amsha’s artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda in East Africa. The women hand-dye sisal fibers and weave them into these beautiful works of art. Use this basket to serve breads or as a centerpiece. It also comes with a string attached at the top so that you can hang it on the wall. In addition to making a beautiful table display, you can combine them with other baskets or works of art to make a wall collage.
Amsha works directly with artisans to produce handmade goods in order to create a lasting and positive impact. They use locally sourced and recycled materials in order to reduce their carbon footprint and to ensure that their social impact extends to their supply chain.
