Where to eat and drink this Winter - Big Sky, MT

Okay, you’re flying in from LAX into BZN. After trying to get an Uber ride from the airport up the canyon to Big Sky, (Good Luck) You roll into town about 2 hours later. Here’s where to eat this winter.

DINNER

Pinky G’s Pizzeria (Closes at 9pm daily.) What to order…  1st option BBQ Porky G’ZA, 2nd option Flyin’ Hawaiian. Beer: Something local.

If you want to drive a little bit out of town we have the Riverhouse BBQ that’s on the Gallatin River going toward West Yellowstone.

GET the Family Platters for 2 or 4 people as they give a sample of everything (Pulled Pork, Brisket, Fried Chicken, Smoked Sausage, BBQ Beans, Chuckwagon Corn, Coleslaw and Cornbread).

"DRINK the Riverhouse Margarita, it's our most popular. It has jalapeno in it which gives it a bit of a kick." - Kara R, Event Coordinator

Nightcap? Checkout Tips Up which is our new dive bar. (I know that’s oxymoronic) Hungry still? Try the chicken sandwich.

If you’re looking for something a little higher on the shelf. (Get it) Try The Independent. They are our only movie theater and they do have a new remodel bar. Trivia Wednesdays… Jazz music on Fridays.

BREAKFAST

Blue Moon Bakery or Cafe 191 both have grab and go. You can eat light for breakfast because you’ll want to stop at Scissorbills Saloon for lunch and then again to apre.

If you’re really feeling last call the night before you can have a slower morning at ACRE KitchenTry the Breakfast Burrito. DON'T get a coffee here, go to Caliber Coffee Roasters (They don't have a website) on your way out of town to the slopes!

LUNCH

Scissorbills Saloon is on the resort and you can actually ski to it from the Ramcharger Lift. It’s on the 3rd floor of 39 Black Eagle Road right above Christy Sports Big Sky Mountain Village. Also on the top level they have The Cabin Bar & Grill. It’s a little higher end.
